Some amazing poetry

My hands were busy through the day
I didn't have much time to play
the little games you asked me to.
I didn't have much time for you.

I'd wash your hands, I'd sew and cook,
but when you'd bring your picture book
and ask me, please to share your fun.
I'd say, "A little later, Son."

I'd tuck you in all safe at night.
I'd hear your prayers; turn out the light.
Then tiptoe softly to the door.
I wish I'd stayed a minute more.

For life is short. The years rush past.
A little boy grows up so fast.
No longer is he at your side,
his precious secrets to confide.

The picture books are put away.
There are no longer games to play.
No goodnight kiss, no prayers to hear.
That all belongs to yesteryear.

My hands, once busy, now are still.
The days are long and hard to fill.
I wish I could go back and do
the little things you asked me to.

Hello Autumn

Today we had a great day outside in the forest. Alexa and I gathered some acorns, chestnuts and beautiful leaves. Alexa likes the sound of the leaves rustling underfoot. So do I!
After gathering some thinks into Alexa's the basket, we went to see some horses and goats that live in the same park deeply in. One horse was seemed to like liking Alexa's hands so much that he couldn't stop licking them.
Alexa was so much happy, she just was radiant.
I love Autumn. It's the most beautiful season! Especially when it's sunny. Enjoying all those wonderful leaves an idea suggested itself to me: why not to shoot Alexa on the ground among the abscissed leaves. And voila'!

The very 1st post

My first post! So, I actually already have a site dedicated to early child development, but I want to have smth like that in English. I have a beautiful daughter and want to share some moments of our lives here.
